Here's how you can get a quality gift for a great price AND help me build my Kindermusik scholarship fund!

Every semester I give out a certain number of scholarships to assist families in giving their child the gift of this special program. I give priority to those families who have little ones with medical issues, to single-parent families, children with Downs Syndrome, and preemies for example.

This past year, I became keenly aware of how many financially strapped families there are in our community. When the economy tanked last year, it affected all of us. Including me. Not as many families reenrolled this past fall. I received more than the usual inquiries into assistance. Some families didn't ask. I offered. I couldn't say no. And I didn't want to. I gave out twice as many as I'd budgeted for. Some folks told me I need to set boundaries, have thicker skin, etc. And they are right -in some areas of my life I do. However, my desire to make this program available to as many children as possible, is important. It's really important. Music is important in the life of a child. For all of us.

So, in order to be able to offer the same amount of assistance for the coming semester (Jan - May 2010), as I currently am offering, I am selling some of my stock inventory. I purchased all of it last November at the Kindermusik International Annual Convention. Everything is brand new, in its original bag and ready for gift giving. With holidays around the corner, here's an opportunity to purchase something of quality AND help build the fund. For the kiddos.
